About you
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and supply of estimates to customers and account managers, ensuring both individual estimates and customer accounts are profitable and competitive.
Working collaboratively with Designers, Account Managers, and customers, you will estimate costs and plan each work project to ensure profitability and suitability to meet the Company objectives.
With good attention to detail, you will identify labour, material and time requirements by studying specifications, analysing the data and feeding back to management.
As an excellent communicator, you will develop the ability to build and maintain good rapport with our suppliers and customers and ensure that enquiries are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner.
What we're looking for
You will have experience of working in a busy estimator role and the ability to produce profitable and commercial estimates. With excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment, you will be highly organised and able to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively.
You will be an effective communicator with outstanding customer service skills and the capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and customers. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential in addition to sound IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Whilst not essential, a qualification in project management and knowledge of the packaging industry workflow processes would be advantageous.
