Atlas Packaging Sponsors The Best Beer At Siba South West

Atlas Packaging, manufacturers of corrugated cardboard packaging for the brewing and drinks industry, sponsored the Champion best bottled/can beer of 2019 at the SIBA south west awards recently.

Yeovil Ales took the top prize with their brew YPA  which has a smooth, fruity taste with notes of citrus fruit and a well-crafted blend of pale malts and aromatic hops.

The awards, which were presented at Tucker’s Maltings Beer festival,were judged by fellow brewers and other representatives from the industry which makes these the much coveted ‘brewers’ choice’ awards in the South West. Atlas Packaging’s Sales Director Mark Leverton said:

“We’ve been a long standing supporter and member of the Society of Independent Brewers and when the opportunity arose to sponsor the Champion bottle/can beer for 2019 we were delighted to do so. The range of new beers coming forward from craft breweries and those well established in the region shows the demand is there for inventive and interesting beers.”

Eight Arch Brewery from Wimborne collected both 2nd and 3rd place accolades for their Corbel and Square Logic beers. Amongst the other winners at the event in Newton Abbot were Atlas Packaging customers Skinner’s Brewing Company and Country Life Brewery.
