Atlas Packaging - Recycle corrugated

Atlas Packaging take very seriously their responsibility towards caring for the environment. As well as being producers of 100% recyclable packaging, we have introduced the following measures within our own working practices in order to minimise the impact on the environment.

Recycling of all waste material which currently equates to approximately 120 tonnes per month
Closed loop recycling with a raw board supplier whereby the vehicle delivering corrugated sheets then collects baled waste to be returned for re-manufacture into new paper
Installation of a full water filtration system that will recycle all waste water
It is company policy to use only diesel powered company vehicles
All printer cartridges are recycled via the Dell Printer Exchange
All office paper is recycled
Energy saving initiatives are encouraged throughout the business (switching off lights/computers etc.)
Replacing of all diesel FLTs with electric versions
In house refurbishment and repair of wooden pallets
As part of our building extension programme we are planting numerous trees & shrubs around the perimeter of the site
